Everyone needs a sexy little lace shrug that they can throw on to either liven up something underneath or dare we say it-to cover up the arms. I have to say that I’m guilty of never wanting my upper arms on show- so I think this shrug is perfect to put over all those cute sleeveless garments I wouldn’t otherwise dare to wear.
Be on trend with a mix of fabrics- the heavy woven lace looks superb over soft flowing silk, or metallic fabric and equally great with the naughty stretch tops that have proved so popular.
The long tie and bow give the shrug a glamorous vintage look to it- but hey- if you don’t like bows, cut it off, we won’t mind!
Tips
If you are not into big bows and a long tie, we suggest you cut the tie off and make it short so that you can still tie it together.(Remember to cut the ribbon on an angle to stop it from fraying.)
It would then look fantastic to wear an old vintage brooch where the bow went or you could always sew on your own large quirky botton!
