Visit our dressmaking boutique in Barnes

Carolyn’s studio is filled with beautiful dresses, outfits and  fabrics. You can buy a dress and have it altered for the perfect fit or have a dress designed especially for you. Its a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and packed with inspiration.

We are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. As we are very busy, at times, with customers and fittings, it is wise to make an appointment to ensure personal attention.

Directions

The Showroom is located in the back elevated corner of “The Mews” behind Shops 46-52 on Church Rd, Barnes. Access is provided from Bracken Gdns. By Public transport From Hammersmith Tube Station : Take bus 209, 33, 72 or 283 and travel towards Barnes, get off at the Red Lion Pub Stop. From Barnes British Rail Station : Take bus 33 or 72 and travel north towards Hammersmith, get off at the Red Lion Pub Stop.

A Cosy Little Treaure Trove

The boutiue is located in Barnes and is a cosy little treasure trove of beautiful pieces and luxury outfits. In what were once horse stables are now fabulous creative workshops and Carolyn is fortunate enough to have a double studio space and a quirky split level at that! Inside you will find a hive of industrious activity, with a wonderful array of amazing dresses and outfits being expertly made by talented dressmakers and seamstresses. Our studio has an outstanding choice of garments available. You’ll find many one-off pieces that are ready to wear or can be altered to fit you perfectly.
