Delivery and Returns


When placing an order the delivery methods available will be displayed along with the cost and expected delivery time. For example UK customers are given the choice of next business day delivery or Saturday delivery.

We make every effort to dispatch your order before the end of the next business day after your order is placed. We will notify you by email when the order is dispatched. All delivery times given are estimates. We make every effect to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time. There are however occasions when due to unforeseen factors a delay occurs.

Carolyn de la Drapiere Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver goods within the estimated delivery times. Your order will be sent to the delivery address on your order confirmation email. If you have ordered multiple products, you may be sent these items in instalments according to product availability. If the delivery address is outside the UK, you are responsible for the payment of any import duties and taxes due prior to collection of your order.

We recommend you contact your local customs office prior to placing an order to confirm the procedure and cost of importing our products. Promotional delivery offers are not applicable to customer orders that are applying a competition prize promotion.


If the items you wish to return have not yet been dispatched then please cancel your order. Refer to the ”Cancellations” sections for further details. We always hope you will be delighted with purchases made from the Carolyn de la Drapiere online boutique, but if for any reason you are not completely satisfied you can cancel your contract with us at any time up to 14 calendar days after the date that the items were dispatched from our boutique.

The following conditions must also be met :- The products must be returned in identical condition to that which they were received.

All tags attached to the product must be in original condition and must not have been removed at any time.

The product must be wrapped in the same manner as it was received in.

The products may be tried on to check the size and style but must not be worn for any extended period of time.

You are the purchaser of the product(s). We strongly recommend that you use a registered postage service with appropriate insurance to return the items. If Carolyn de la Drapiere Ltd does not receive your returned items you will be liable for the cost of the items. Please send your parcel securely wrapped to :- Studio 6, The Mews, 46-52 Church Road, Barnes, London, SW13 0DQ Once we have received your returned products and have accepted that they meet our returns conditions we will refund the cost of the items using the payment method and account used to purchase the products within 30 days of receiving the returned items. You will be liable for any charges incurred when returning the products to Carolyn de la Drapiere unless the return is due to an error on our part.


We are happy to let you exchange items you have purchased from us as long as the items you are returning meet the conditions outlined in our returns policy. Simply send a note back with your returned items requesting them to be exchanged.

Be careful to clearly give the name and size of the item you wish to receive as an exchange. We cannot guarantee that your requested item will be available at the time we process your exchange.

If we are unable to complete your exchange we will refund your return in accordance with our returns policy. If the returned item is of greater value to that which it is exchanged for, we will refund the difference.

If the returned item is of less value to that which it is exchanged for, we will phone you to arrange payment of the difference. We will cover the postage cost of sending you the first exchange, you will be responsible for all returns postage costs and the delivery of any exchanges other than the first exchange.
